We believe that all students have the potential to succeed. Our coaching program is designed to help students develop executive functioning skills such as time management, organization, and study skills. Our coaches work one-on-one with students to identify areas of strength and weakness and create a customized coaching plan to help each student achieve their goals.
About
Kate Lamanna, M.A., English, M.A., Teaching
Kate is a highly experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching, tutoring, and coaching under her belt. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, as well as a master's degree in English and a master degree in teaching from Simmons University in Boston. Kate has taught at both the middle school and high school levels making her a versatile and knowledgeable educator.
Furthermore, Kate has also studied with the ADD Coach's Academy to gain a deeper understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning. She has successfully completed the organization's Basic Training program and Family Training program, making her well-equipped to support students with ADHD and their families. Kate's dedication to continuing education and professional development is a testament to her commitment to providing the best possible support to her.

Our coaches have extensive training and experience in working with students in middle and high school. All of our coaches are certified in special education and/or have a background in education or a related field.
